This piece began as a Studio Remnant Painting using the leftover paint from another painting so it wouldn’t dry up and be wasted. It soon took on a life of its own and I focused on both the juxtaposition of muted complimentary colors coupled with neutrals. The small starbursts are from a stamp I carved. Automatic writing was added for both its message and visual impact.
This piece has a mate. They were created side by side with the same colors and approach. Expand and Uplift #1 has sold.

Feng Shui Possibilities
This painting has the free flowing, asymmetrical nature of the Water Element which finds its home in the Career gua. In addition, its varied color palette includes hues representing all Five Elements. This combination could contribute to an overall balance in any room but would hold special significance in the Center gua.
